About Me:
Liz Slagus holds a BA in Art History and Anthropology and an MA in Visual Arts Administration. As a result of her 3 years of work in Eyebeam’s Education Division, she has been asked to sit on NYSCA’s Technology Initiatives Grant selection panel, had the opportunity to organize a panel for two NYCMER (New York City Museum Educators Roundtable) annual conferences, and speak at different universities around New York City, regarding the use of art and technology in the city’s public schools. Liz Slagus is currently Eyebeam’s Director of School, Youth, and Family Programs, managing and developing Eyebeam’s after-school programs, teacher training programs, new media educators’ collaborative in Chelsea, internship and technical assistants’ program, and family programs for the upcoming exhibition schedule. Ms. Slagus will teach a new media course for NYU during spring 2002.
