About Me:
I grew up and went to school in Brooklyn, NY, and after college I traveled a lot. I also worked as a mentor with different youth groups in the Bronx and Brooklyn. I've studied photography, capoeira, dance, and I am also a doula (I assist young pregnant mothers during pregnancy and labor). I speak Italian and Portuguese, and love to go out dancing with my girls as much as possible.

I work at the Population Council - an international health research non profit. We have offices and programs in 50 countries, and I work mostly in programs to improve reproductive health for adolescent girls and young women in poor countries.
